Check public Shopify support content for answers that may disagree.
Audit publicly reachable Shopify FAQs, Pages, and support articles for conflicts, duplicate content, and freshness signals. No Shopify Admin access required.
Shopify does not provide one native merchant Help Center content type. Support answers may live in storefront Pages, FAQs, blogs, policies, or a connected support site. CheckMyHelpCenter reviews the public pages it can discover from the submitted URL and reports its actual coverage.

What the Shopify support-content audit checks
The free audit looks for inconsistent values and overlapping answers across public storefront Pages, FAQ content, blog posts, and support pages linked from the submitted URL. This is useful when operational policies have changed but older customer-facing copy remains available.
- Free-shipping thresholds that specify different values across pages.
- Return or exchange windows that may reflect different policy versions.
- Near-duplicate FAQ and policy content.
- Visible dates that indicate an older page may need verification.
Audit coverage is not search-engine coverage
Shopify's default robots rules restrict /policies/ for search crawlers. The free audit currently reads publicly reachable HTML and does not interpret a site's robots.txt, so its report is not a proxy for Google, Bing, or AI-search discovery. Only submit content you manage or have permission to analyze.
Password protection, pages hidden from navigation, inaccessible links, and scan safety limits can still reduce audit coverage. CheckMyHelpCenter reports only the pages it successfully analyzes and should never be described as a complete Shopify content export.
What stays outside the scan
CheckMyHelpCenter does not enter Shopify Admin, read customer or order data, access Checkout or customer accounts, inspect unpublished or password-protected pages, or change store policies. It also cannot infer the current operational rule when two public statements disagree.
The report is a directional public-content snapshot—not a promise of search ranking, AI citation, or customer-support accuracy. The merchant remains responsible for confirming which policy is current and which exceptions apply.
Use one canonical answer per customer intent
When shipping or refund guidance is repeated across several pages, designate one maintained source and make other pages link to it. Clear canonical content helps customers, support agents, search engines, and retrieval systems reach the same answer.
CheckMyHelpCenter is an independent tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Shopify. Shopify is a trademark of its respective owner.

Questions about this audit.
Can I audit public Shopify FAQ and help pages without installing an app?
Yes. The free audit starts with a public storefront support URL and does not request Shopify Admin access. It covers only pages it can discover and read.
Can it see Shopify orders or customer data?
No. The public scanner cannot access Shopify Admin, orders, customers, or any content that requires authentication.
Will it change my Shopify policy pages?
No. The audit is read-only and presents evidence for a person to review before making any change.
Why were some Shopify policy pages excluded from the scan?
Password protection, missing navigation links, access errors, and scan safety limits can reduce coverage. Check the report's analyzed-page count before drawing conclusions.
Will audit coverage match Google or AI-search coverage?
Not necessarily. Shopify's default robots rules restrict /policies/ for search crawlers, while this free audit currently does not interpret robots.txt. The two coverage sets can differ.
Does this improve Shopify products in ChatGPT or AI shopping results?
The audit identifies public support-content inconsistencies. It does not optimize product feeds and cannot guarantee search ranking, AI citation, or shopping visibility.
